A Florida native, Marisa graduated Magna Cum Laude at Florida Atlantic University with a degree in Communications: Media and Cultural Studies and received a certificate in Ethnic Studies. While at FAU, she met several celebrities such as JC Chasez from N’Sync, Mike Epps, and Donald Trump while serving as an intern for the #1 radio station in West Palm Beach, FL, Wild 95.5. Upon graduation, Marisa worked as an Admission Coordinator for FAU’s Honors College before joining the Office of Admission at Sewanee: The University of the South.
