Campus Visit

Students, faculty and staff live and work together on what we affectionately call the Mountain — a part of Tennessee’s Cumberland Plateau located between Chattanooga and Nashville. The 10,000-acre campus provides a splendid setting for academics, sports, and recreational outings. On any given day, you may find a biology class, a group of horseback riders, or rock climbers somewhere on the twenty-two mile perimeter trail. Stunning fall foliage, moderate winters, and warm springs make the Domain (Sewanee’s 10,000 acres) accessible through most of the school year.
