Behind the Scenes - Theatre Sewanee

We’re preparing to open Jane Martin's Anton in Show Business in the Proctor Hill Theatre at the Tennessee Williams Center (yes, named after that Tennessee Williams, the one who left his literary estate to Sewanee), and we want to invite you behind the scenes to attend the final dress rehearsal, see how we are polishing the work, and offer you an opportunity to talk with the cast and faculty afterwards.

  • Who is invited? High school students and their parents/guardians, theatre arts teachers, college counselors. Teachers and college counselors, bring a group if you like.
  • What will I do? Dinner at McClurg Dining Hall, behind-the-scenes tour of Sewanee’s theatre arts facility, exclusive viewing of the final dress rehearsal of Sewanee’s upcoming performance of “Anton in Show Business” and more.

Behind the Scenes - University Choir

The University Choir of All Saints' Chapel in Sewanee brings students together with a common love of music and an interest in singing, studying, and performing the finest liturgical music. You'll have the chance to perform with a real university travel choir, led by Sewanee's choirmaster, Geoffrey Ward.
